




MOUNTAIN
Life never stops in La Molina even when the ski season ends. These are outdoor leisure activities (which take approximately 3 hours) we offer to young people ranging from 7 to 16 years. All the technical equipment is included except for clothing and footwear. These activities are all part of the summer camps programme but they can also be organized by reservation for groups or for a minimum of participants.
Kayaking and canoeing in the calm waters. On the artificial lake of the ski resort of La Molina, surrounded by nature. We sail on Canadian canoes or kayaks for 2 or 3 people, while we teach specific vocabulary of material and technique.
Introduction to climbing and abseiling natural stone walls. Transfer in shuttle vans. Before starting to try it, instructors explain the technique and give advices and tricks. Depending on your level and ability, you will be divided into different climbing routes. All the equipment for a safe practice is included.
Map, compass and GPS navigation courses. Explanation of different methods and manners to get oriented in the mountains with the help of maps, compasses and GPS. The flagged itinerary with seven targets around the resort is the best way to test oneself. Under supervision all the time.
Mountain Bike (MTB). Learning all about mountain biking: the technique, the gear switching, how to enhance your performance. And putting it into practice up and down the hills of the ski resort of La Molina.
Archery, circuit through the woods. Before entering the forest, safety rules and techniques are explained to participants. After it, bows and arrows are ready to hit the animal-shape targets along the circuit through the woods and obtain the maximum score.
Tyrolean traverses. Fulfilling all safety standards, it is a circuit across the trees near the lake, hanging 10 meters from the floor, which crosses a stream in the valley.
Horse Riding. Transfer to the riding school of Prullans, 20 minutes away from La Molina. After a technical explanation, participants start by learning to ride inside the fence. When they feel safe enough, they enjoy an outside horse ride.
Caving. We move to the cave of Anés, approximately 15 minutes away, which is a good place to get started in this sport. The inner gallery covers a distance of 385 meters, where you have to walk and climb to reach the end of the main gallery. During the walk, groups are able to appreciate the typical stalactites, stalagmites, formations of limestone, columns and flags.
Rafting. Transfer to Llavorsí, 2 hours away from La Molina. After an accurate explanation of the main techniques and preventions, participants enjoy rafting along the river Nogera Pallaresa in Sort.
Trekking. Routes across the Park of Cadí–Moixeró.
